hola hola!!

GUYS. i love my district! we have a lot of fun together despite the fact that we can’t really all hang out. we have a group google doc that we write all our funny quotes on… it’s four pages long now haha! everyone has it up during class so if someone says something funny we all will jump on the doc at the same time to write it down haha! here are some of my favorite quotes:

haha i don’t know if you’ll think those are funny but when i read the big list i die laughing! good thing zoom has a mute button haha! a couple other cool things i’ve been able to do with my district are play codenames over zoom, meet to talk about devotionals, and on sunday we did a big family home evening with our mtc teacher hermano rojas and all of our families! it’s been so cool. i have loved it!

this week (and every week) i have been super focused on the book of mormon. something fun that we do a lot in the mtc is we're asked a question about the gospel and then we’re given a few minutes to find a scripture to answer it. this makes me sound like a total missionary nerd BUT it has taught me that you can always go to the scriptures for answers… and chances are that our modern day prophets have got some great talks to help you out as well. :) it is so awesome! i know the book of mormon answers prayers because i have had it happen to me, and it is the coolest thing ever! i love having the knowledge of the gospel in my life, and knowing where to turn for answers. the scriptures are a blessing! don’t forget to use them!
