This Is, In Fact, My First Rodeo

hey guysss! so fun times i'm in ukiah california instead of my basement now! whaaat! yeah. pretty craZy. flying here was great. i got to see the elders in my mtc district which was so fun! we came in with about 35 new elders and sisters. we had lots of meetings and such the first two days. but president puffer and his wife are awesome and it was fun to meet more missionaries here!

anyways.... super exciting... i have TWO companions!!!!! and we're SPANISH SPEAKING!!!!!! we live in the cutest little red house in ukiah with three other english speaking sisters. they are a party and a half, let me tell you. haha! my companions are hermana morgan and hermana miranda. they are both resigned missionaries. they each have been out for 10 months but had 6 months in guatemala and mexico. they're spanish is suppper good! they carrryyy our spanish lessons. but we have taught in spanish and english which has been really nice for me with my limited spanish, haha! we've had some super powerful lessons this week though, MIRACLES ARE REAL EVERYONE.

sadly after six weeks in the mtc i am still not latina. i know. SHOCKER. but even though i don't know how to say everything i have seen miracles in my spanish. in multiple lessons my companions will look at me to say something and somehow the words just come. i have been able to pray and share my testimony with those we are teaching. it's not me, it's the spirit. 

this has been so powerful for me to see with my spanish, but it can be applied to all of us. if we put in the effort to be where we need to be to be we can be instruments in God's hands. one of my life goals is to try to always be on the Lord's errand. we can do that every day by praying to have those experiences and listening to the Spirit. these errands don't need to be big to be powerful and an answer to someone's prayer. 

i invite you all to find simple ways to serve those around you and be on the Lord's errand this week!
